Virtual Pro Association ("VPA", "we", "us", or "our") respects the privacy of its users. This Privacy Policy explains how information is processed when you use the VPA website, VPA mobile applications for iOS and Android, and related VPA services (collectively, the "Services").

VPA processes personal information primarily when necessary to provide the features and functionality requested by users, such as creating an account, managing a player profile, participating in teams and competitions, communicating through the platform, and accessing VPA services.

VPA does not sell users' personal data.

1. INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE TO VPA

When you create or use a VPA account, you may provide information such as username and player name, email address, name and surname where provided, account credentials, EA ID or other gaming identifiers, gaming platform, player positions and shirt number, country or language preferences, profile pictures or other images voluntarily uploaded, Discord information where voluntarily provided or connected, team and competition information, messages and communications sent through VPA, and support requests.

2. PLAYER, TEAM AND COMPETITION DATA

To operate leagues, tournaments and related services, VPA may process team memberships, player registrations, player contracts and transfers, competition registrations, match participation, match results, goals, assists and other statistics, rankings and standings, tournament and league history, and other competition-related records.

Some information, including player names, teams, rankings, statistics and competition results, may be visible to other users or publicly displayed as part of the normal functionality of VPA.

3. HOW VPA USES YOUR INFORMATION

VPA may use information to create and maintain accounts, authenticate users, provide player profiles, manage teams, operate competitions, maintain rankings and statistics, manage contracts and transfers, provide messaging features, process support requests, provide Premium features and verify purchases, send notifications, protect accounts and platform security, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce VPA rules, maintain the Services, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

4. ADVERTISING AND GOOGLE ADMOB

The VPA mobile application may display advertisements provided through Google AdMob. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically process technical information in connection with advertising, including IP address, device or advertising identifiers where permitted, advertising and app interactions, diagnostic information, and information related to app and advertising SDK performance.

Such information may be processed by Google and participating advertising technology providers for advertising, measurement, analytics, security and fraud prevention, subject to applicable law and the user's privacy choices.

VPA does not sell personal data to advertisers.

5. ADVERTISING CONSENT AND PRIVACY CHOICES

Where required, VPA uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present privacy choices relating to advertising. Users may be able to consent, refuse consent, or manage their privacy choices through the official Google consent interface. Where required by UMP, users can subsequently access Privacy Options within VPA to review or modify their choices.

Refusing consent does not necessarily mean that no advertisements will be displayed. The type of advertising and information that may be used depends on the user's choices, applicable requirements and the advertising services available.

6. GOOGLE ADSENSE AND WEBSITE ADVERTISING

The VPA website may use Google AdSense or other Google advertising services. These services may use cookies, local storage, device information and similar technologies for advertising, measurement, security and related purposes, subject to applicable consent requirements.

7. FIREBASE AND PUSH NOTIFICATIONS

VPA uses Google Firebase services, including Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), for technical functionality such as delivering push notifications. Technical information such as a device or app push notification token may be processed for this purpose. Users can disable push notifications through their device settings.

8. PURCHASES AND PREMIUM FEATURES

VPA may offer Premium features or other digital products. Purchases made through the mobile applications may be processed by the Apple App Store on iOS or Google Play on Android. VPA may receive information necessary to verify a transaction and activate purchased functionality, such as product identifier, transaction identifier, purchase status, purchase or expiration date where applicable, and Premium entitlement status. VPA does not receive or store complete payment card details for purchases processed directly by Apple or Google.

9. USER-GENERATED CONTENT AND COMMUNICATIONS

VPA may allow users to submit player and team information, profile images, team images or logos, messages and other competition or community content. Content submitted for public features may be visible to other users. VPA may moderate, restrict or remove content when necessary to enforce platform rules, respond to reports, protect users or comply with applicable legal requirements.

10. TECHNICAL AND SECURITY INFORMATION

When users access VPA, certain technical information may be processed automatically for operation and security, including IP address, device and operating system information, app version, server logs, technical requests, security-related information, and error or diagnostic information where applicable.

11. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

The VPA website and third-party services integrated with VPA may use cookies, local storage and similar technologies for authentication, sessions, security, preferences, advertising and advertising measurement where applicable.

12. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

Depending on the processing activity and applicable law, VPA may process personal information because it is necessary to provide the Services requested by the user, because the user has provided consent, because processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, or where another lawful basis applies.

13. SHARING OF INFORMATION

VPA does not sell users' personal data.

Information may nevertheless be processed by service providers where necessary to provide VPA functionality, including hosting and infrastructure providers, Google Firebase, Google AdMob and participating advertising technology providers, Google AdSense, Apple for App Store services and purchases, Google for Google Play services and purchases, and other technical service providers necessary to operate the Services. Information may also be disclosed where required by law, legal process or competent authorities.

14. DATA SECURITY

VPA takes reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect user information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss or misuse. However, no internet-based service or electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security.

15. DATA RETENTION

VPA retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services and for legitimate operational, security or legal purposes. Information that is no longer necessary may be deleted or anonymized. Certain historical competition information may be retained in anonymized form to preserve the integrity and historical accuracy of competitions, rankings, results and statistics.

16. ACCOUNT DELETION

Users can permanently delete their VPA account directly from the VPA application through the Delete Account functionality.

When an account is deleted, the account can no longer be used to log in, authentication credentials are removed or invalidated, and directly identifying account and profile information is deleted or irreversibly anonymized where applicable.

VPA may retain anonymized historical competition records where necessary to preserve competition history, match results, rankings and statistics. Such records are not retained for advertising purposes.

Users may also use the designated account deletion resource available on the VPA website.

17. RIGHTS OF THE USER

Depending on applicable law, users may have rights concerning their personal information, including the right to request access, correction or deletion of personal data, request restriction of certain processing, object to certain processing, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, request portability of eligible information, and lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority.

Advertising consent and privacy preferences can also be managed through the privacy options provided within the VPA application where applicable.

18. CHILDREN AND MINORS

VPA is not intended for users below the minimum age permitted to use the Services under applicable law and the rules applicable to the VPA service. Where additional protections or consent requirements apply to minors, VPA may limit access to certain features or take other measures required by applicable law.

19. INTERNATIONAL SERVICES

VPA is available to users in multiple countries. Some service providers used by VPA may process information in countries other than the user's country of residence. Where required by applicable data protection law, appropriate mechanisms or safeguards will apply to such processing and international transfers.

20. THIRD-PARTY PRIVACY PRACTICES

Third-party services integrated with VPA operate under their own terms and privacy practices. Users may review the privacy information provided by Google, Apple and other applicable service providers for additional details.

21. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

VPA may update this Privacy Policy when features or services change, new technologies or service providers are introduced, data processing practices change, or legal or regulatory requirements change. The date at the top indicates when this Privacy Policy was last updated.
